Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is a famous American actor, performer and songwriter. Her most famous roles include her role as Lucy in the musical 13 as well as Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. Her first job was doing commercials. In 2007 she first appeared on TV as a character in The Black Donnellys. In the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious the actress played Jade West between 2010 and 2013. In 2010, she received a nomination to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for best young performer for her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The year after, her appearance on Super 8 as the main character earned she the Spotlight Award for the Hollywood thriller Festival. In addition to her role as the title role on We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she also played Princess Aurora as well in Maleficent as well as Maleficent The Mistress of Evil.
