Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is an Spanish flamenco and pop performer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the fringes of traditional and pop music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of this young artist as sweet and sharp and grit. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. She collaborated with many performers and musicians like Cory Henry. The set came out in the month of March 2022, following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing on her own in the show. Motomami was the only woman in history to be the winner of the Latin Album of the Year two times and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
